Travel Soccer Coordinator
“Perry Travel Soccer is run under the direction of Perry Local Schools.
The travel program is for players who are interested in playing soccer at a more competitive level. The program will look to engage participants throughout the year with practices, clinics and additional opportunities to work on their skills. Try-outs will be offered in late May / early June for the following fall season. Participants are expected to play soccer in the fall, and spring OHTSL seasons (Ohio Travel Soccer League).
OHTSL is a community based soccer program comprised of over 150 surrounding communities. The league does its best to bracket teams based on ability level as well as geographically with other surrounding communities.
Each season will have an eight game schedule. The fall season will have games beginning in mid-August; the spring season will begin in Games are typically held Sunday afternoon with a few mid week games. Half of the games are played at home (Perry Center Road Soccer Fields or Memorial Field), and the other half away in the other communities.
Coaches and players will be registered through US Club Soccer. All coaches are required to have completed an approved concussion course, back ground check as well a registered US Club Soccer card holder.”
